Time for another interview. I'd like to introduce you to Silvia from Giochi di Carta. Silvia has worked as an illustrator of text books and fiction books for children for over 10 years. She is currently working as an illustrator, graphic designer, crafter and a paper cut artist. She is a mother of two children, ages 4 and 7. Silvia lives in one of my favorite countries: Italy.

Silvia: SinceI became a mother,7 years ago, evenmy illustrationshave approached theworldof little pre-school aged children.
One of myfavoritebooksis"Che cos'è? Prime Parole"(in English"What is it? First Words"),
published by ItalianEmme Edizioni. The designsare big, verysimple and sweet.
Silvia: Reading is oneof my favorite thingsto do afterdrawing.Whenmy
husband and I moved in together,in mostof the boxesthere were onlybooks!
Nowthat I'm busy withwork and family life, I don't have much time to read. I like tobrowse interior design and crafts books.
There isa classic which I like,"The Old Manand the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway.

Italy?Whatplacein Italywould yourecommendpeopleto visit?Why?
Silvia: Italyis full of beautiful cities. Just think ofRome, Venice,Florence, and Milan. Everyregion has somethingthat sets it apart.
However, ifthere is a placethatisvery specialfor me, it is Sardinia. My fatherwas born onthis beautiful island,and I had thegood fortune to spend my childhood summers nearit's whitebeachesand crystal clear water.A true paradise!
9.Do youtravel?What is your favoriteplaceyouhavevisited?
Silvia: I love to travel and learnnew things. Everyplace I have visited has been important,but I have nottraveledmuch,and I still havemany things to see.
